协会筹备召开中国蜂产品协会第六届会员代表大会暨开展中国蜂产品协会成立２０周年纪念活动
中国蜂产品协会日前发出了《关于筹备召开中国蜂产品协会第六届会员代表大会暨开展中国蜂产品协会成立20周年纪念活动的通知》（蜂协发字15号），通知指出：
中国蜂产品协会第五届会员代表大会于2005年3月在上海召开，至2009年3月将满四年。根据协会章程的规定，中国蜂产品协会将按时召开第六届会员代表大会并进行换届选举等工作。至2009年，中国蜂产品协会将迎来成立20周年，协会将举办相关纪念活动。(活动详情请见网站行业动态栏目和中国蜂产品报第10期第2版

协会今年将继续开展“全国蜂产品行业诚信商店”评定工作

Introduction
China Bee Product Association (CBPA) is a national organization voluntarily established by individuals, institution and enterprises engaged in production, processing, equipments operation, research, education, medical and health care of bee product throughout the country. CBPA accepts the supervision and management of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Professional guidance of the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives.

The purpose of CBPA is to implement the laws, legislations and relevant polices of the government; to do a good job of self-discipline, coordination, service and interest guarding; to guide the sound development of the industry.

The main functions of CBPA are to provide the service to the members, in the area of bee industry, including voicing the opinions and suggestions of members, holding national bee product market information exchange conference, reinforcing market research and forecast; conducting the exhibitions and activities both at home and abroad; to coordinate the relations among the four links of production, processing, trade, technology education and the relations among enterprises as well; to implement the principles and policies of the government, undertakes study and put forward the development plan of the industry; to do a good job of self-discipline, and to assist government authorities to fight against illegal performance in the industry; to assess, evaluate products at the consignment by the government, to participate in drawing up quality criterion, quality system confirmation and standardization management; to develop new production research and applying, increase the scientific and technological content and the value-added of bee products; to organize personnel training; to promote communication and cooperation with international bee industry organizations.

The highest level of authority of CBPA is members’ conference, or members’ representative conference. The executive body of members’ conference or members’ representative conference is the Board of Directors. The administrative office of the Board of Directors is the Secretariat.

China Bee Product association subsides 9 professional councils. They are respectively as follows. Honey council, Royal Jelly council, Propolis council, Bee Pollen council, Bee Product Medical treatment and Health Care council, Bee industry facility council, Beekeeper cooperation council and Beewax council.

CBPA warmly welcomes individuals, institutions and enterprises in the bee product industry to join the association for the further development of Chinese bee product industry.
